Cute place in Rocky Mount. Pizza was really good. Sweet crust matched with savory top. I didn't have the wings but my family did and gave them a huge thumbs up! Staff was really nice. I will note the inside is small. Six tables maybe so not much room. We were there when it was rainy but they do have outside seating which would be great if the weather is good.
If you have an opportunity that puts you 8n Rocky Mount, Google this joint. Personal and larger pizzas. Pick your sauce and your toppings. 10 minutes later you're gonna be glad you stopped in. Eat in or out on their deck. Walk across the lot to one of the many other businesses and enjoy a fresh pour.
The team was very accommodating to my food allergies. They made me a gluten free pizza crust and an olive oil/pesto sauce. It was simply delicious. Chloe took my order and was friendly, informative and did a great job at handling calls and orders while I was picking up my order. Without knowing her pay rate, paying her a top wage would be a wise investment for the owners/management.
Honestly, one of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to! The pizza is wood fired in a custom oven and the crust is perfectly salted, crispy, and flavorful.
The Tipsy Tomato pizza is an absolutely delicious pizza gem in Rocky Mount! The ingredients are so fresh and complementary of each other. That crispy crust from that hot oven gets me every time. Give the “Maximus” a try, it’s pictured here. I don’t do olives so you can swap out your dislikes! Enjoy and you’re welcome!
We absolutely love the Tipsy Tomato! If you're a fan of wood-fired pizza, this is the place to go. Hands down, it's the best pizza in the area - so much so that it's the only pizza place we eat at around here. It's great not having to drive to Raleigh or Greenville to get high-quality, wood-fired pizza. They also have great chicken wings. The weekends can get busy, so I highly recommend calling ahead or ordering online to avoid a wait. But honestly, with pizza this good, a little wait is understandable!
Lip smacking Margherita pizza!! I ordered a personal size and ate every single bite. The sauce is amazing and being cooked by fire made it all the better. Hubby had the pizza of the month and said it was the best pizza he has had in a while. The little one enjoyed her pepponi personal pizza. They offer craft beer and hard ciders, we enjoyed the ones we had (red ale and a cider. Prices are good and quality is beyond top notch. Service was quick and super friendly. The pizza though.. One word.. Delish!
